"Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it" Proverb 22:6
This year, a new group of Year 3 children have taken part in our Beach School programme, bringing enthusiasm and curiosity to each session. Unlike last year’s winter visits, we have been lucky to explore the beach in late spring and early summer, experiencing a warmer, more vibrant coastline full of life.

The children have enjoyed a range of hands-on and collaborative activities, including beach art, team challenges, decorating the groynes and playing group games. There have been plenty of memorable moments, from paddling in the sea to sharing tasty snacks together, all helping to build confidence, friendships and a strong sense of well-being. A real highlight has been the opportunity to experience live music on the beach, with Ben from The Garden Classroom playing a variety of instruments each week, adding something truly special to our time outdoors.

We would like to say a big thank you to The Garden Classroom, particularly Rohan, Ben and the wider team, for their support in making these sessions so enjoyable and enriching. We are incredibly proud of how the children have embraced Beach School and the positive attitudes they have shown throughout.
