Developing a strong partnership with parents, carers and family members is important to us and is key in nurturing each child towards their full potential.
When children see their parents or other family members getting involved in the Academy it lets them see that you are interested in, and value, what they are learning.
We hold ‘Spirit Day’ termly and invite parents and carers to spend the day with the children, working together on community projects to make our school and community a better place. This could be working in our garden area to create a new vegatable patch, painting murals on playground walls, making bird feeders to hang in our wooded areas or making new flower beds in the car park borders. Please see our blog for historic photos of these days.
By offering to share your knowledge, experience or skills you will be helping to make our Academy a successful, welcoming place supported by, and well connected with, the local community.
We also value your feedback. Please feel free to contact the Headteacher at any time with feedback or suggestions. We take your opinions seriously and will always do all we can for valid concerns and suggestions.
The school sends out a parent questionnaire twice a year and publishes this feedback in the school newsletter,
You can also give feedback via Parent View. This an anonymous government backed website where you can also register your views. Please feel free to do so at any time:
