  The children have worked really hard with Mr White and Reverend Foy to write our new academy prayer.

   

  Our Academy Prayer.

   

  Dear Lord,

  Thank you for everything you give us in our world.

  Help us to always make good choices and do the right thing each day.

  Thank you for our academy, our friends and family and for all who help us to learn.

  Show us how to love others as Jesus loves us.

  Keep us safe, determined, respectful and faithful in all we do.

  Amen.

   

• Prayer Space Open!

  Our prayer garden provides a space for worship and reflection, through planned activities, in a calm environment where children can celebrate a variety of faiths within our community.

  The pupils said:

  •“It means we can show respect to God”

   

  •“I have enjoyed coming here to have peace and quiet. If I feel angry, it helps me to calm down and reflect.”

   

  •“I like how you can have calm time and reflect on different religions. When it was Ramadan, I had a space to pray and reflect”

   

  •“I enjoy writing big questions and the activities which help us to be kind and calm”
