"Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it" Proverb 22:6
Our Academy offers modern facilities within extensive, safe grounds.
Each classroom is equipped with interactive whiteboards, and there are computers, laptops and tablets available to the children.
The Academy has a teaching kitchen where the children can learn about food, healthy eating and food technology.
We have a well stocked library where the children can undertake research and project work in a superb learning environment.
Outdoor Areas
Our outdoor areas include an allotment/community garden, large playgrounds and playing fields. Plus, our green surroundings allow us to make full use of gardening and wildlife areas. This now includes our Forest School Area where we run forest school for all year groups. The Forest school site includes a pond (with ducks) reading area, mud kitchen, fire circle, book house/reading area.
The Governors and staff, in consultation with the School Council, are continually looking for ways to improve the learning environment for the children both in and outside of the classroom.
We have a variety of after school clubs that use the school grounds. This includes forest school club and our community garden project (run by parents).
