Breakfast Club and Lions After School Club

Breakfast and Lions After School Club are available to all children from Reception to Year 6.

Our aim is to make our Extended Schools facility fun, enjoyable and engaging as well as provide an affordable, quality service to parents who require wrap around care.

Our Extended Schools facility runs from 8am to 5.15pm, Monday to Friday, during term time (excluding inset days, bank holidays and PTA fair days).

Breakfast Club is available from 8am to 8.40am (changing to 7:45am from January 2026) at this time the children will be taken to their class by a member of the team.

Breakfast is served until 8.30am. We offer a selection of cereals, fruit, toast, bagels and milk, juice or water to drink.

The cost for Breakfast Club is £2.45 per day.

Did you know that our Breakfast Club has been running for over 20 years? That’s a lot of children who have been able to start their day with a healthy and nutritious breakfast.

Breakfast Club is available to all pupils daily during term time. Our doors are open from 08:00 to 08:30 (changing to 07:45 to 08:30 from the start of Term 3 in January 2026), with children going to their classrooms at 08:40.

As part of the National School Breakfast Programme, our club is provided with a range of cereals and our ever-popular bagels, part-funded by the DfE. In addition, we offer toast, fruit juice, and milk, along with occasional seasonal specials.

To secure a place, we ask that a registration form is completed via Arbor. This provides us with important information regarding allergies and dietary requirements. Arbor is also where you can book the sessions you need. Please ensure your child(ren) are booked in so we can plan staffing and food accordingly. Bookings can be made daily or in blocks and close at 20:00 the evening before each session.

If your child(ren) receive Free School Meals, please book under Star Breakfast. Otherwise, please book under Breakfast Club.

After School Club (Lions)

Our Lions After School Club is available from 3.15pm until 5.15pm.

The cost for Lions Club is as follows:

Children participate in activities that we strive to make different from those during the academic day. Activities include arts & crafts, construction toys, homework corner, outdoor play (weather permitting) dressing up, movie afternoons and more.

Children booked in for the first hour will be offered a piece of fruit and a drink upon arrival.

Children staying for the full session will be served a light snack at 4.30pm to hold them over until they get home for dinner. We run a rota of snacks which include:

Yoghurt & fruit pot

Filled wholemeal pitta

Beans on toast

Toasted fruit bread/teacakes with jam

Veg stick pots & breadsticks with houmous

Wraps (tuna or cheese filling)

Crumpets

Bookings

Please ensure staff are made aware of any allergies your child may have by completing the section on the registration form.

Access for club bookings will not be made available until we have received a completed registration form. This form can be accessed in the links below. 

Booking must be made online, using Arbor. Payment must be made in advance, at the time of booking. Bookings for the day will close at 1.30pm, please contact the school office to enquire about availability after this time. 

Please be aware numbers are limited to 60 for Breakfast Club and 30 for Lions Club. Once the club is at capacity for a day we will not be able to accept any further bookings.

It will not be possible for children to attend Breakfast or Lions Club if the session has not been pre-booked and paid for, unless it is in an emergency. In this instance, please contact the school office.
