Year 2
Year 2 sees the children begin to be much more independent learners. They learn to discuss and evaluate their own work and become more responsible for their own learning through checking and editing.
At the end of Year 2, the children will complete end of Key Stage 1 SATs assessments in reading, writing, numeracy and science.

Curriculum Enrichment
As part of our curriculum we carefully consider the enrichment opportunities we offer the children here at the school. Alongside the curriculum we review this annually.
Unfortunately due to the ongoing situation with Covid, it has been impossible to plan enrichment when we can neither plan outdoor learning excursions nor plan to have companies/theatre groups in to deliver plays/workshops.
This will be under review and we hope to deliver some enrichment in Term 5 & 6 if circumstances allow.
